Day -2 — Thursday, Oct 24 — Haifa

Day -2 is a regular work day in Haifa. Every morning before work, I do my normal morning ride, down to the beach, along the beach to the Naval base, then up the Stella Maris and back to the hotel.

The beach road The beach road is amazingly quiet and peaceful in the early morning.
Breakfast at Adul's There is a small food store in the beach neighborhood where I often have some fruit and yogurt, mid-ride. The arab store owner, Adul, let his friend take a picture of the two of us at his checkout area.
Stella Maris The Stella Maris is the easiest and safest road up from the naval base area back up to the Dan Carmel hotel. It has a moderate 10% or so grade and has a nice sidewalk/bike path. Normally, I am not a big fan of bike paths, but with this climb and the narrow road, it is my choice here.
The Bahai Garden The Bahai Garden spills its beauty from just below the Dan Carmel hotel down to city below.
